Continuing the topic of woman leading biking and walking improvements , BLAC Detroit magazine has this article on the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy ‘s director, Faye Nelson . One most impressive aspects of the RiverWalk is its public-private partnership model. We wouldn’t be able to bike or walk along much of the river if not for the Kresge Foundation, General Motors, DNR, MDOT, and many others.
